Peru Coyona Unwashed
Bongo is part of a group that played a role in bringing this traditional coffee back by encouraging farmers in Coyona to return to creating unwashed coffees. This saves water by allowing the beans to dry inside the cherries instead of pulping and washing them right away.
This natural (also know as unwashed) process coffee has a sweet, fruit-forward taste and a delicate body.
Taste notes of candied strawberry, chocolate, orange zest and raspberry jam.
