Colombia Cauca

Colombia Cauca

This coffee cooperative began on March 12th 1993 to further the economic development of a region that was largely cut off from the rest of the country due to civil war and political violence. (Coincidentally, our first cafe opened just 16 days later). The group received UN financial aid to help farmers find an alternative to the illicit coca trade.

Located in the mountains of Western Colombia not far from the Pacific Ocean, COSURCA produces some of our favorite organic and Fair Trade coffees. Our light roast brings out the natural notes of brown sugar, milk chocolate and stone fruit
